World Scout Environment Badge
"Nature study is the key activity in Scouting and Guiding." - Baden-Powell
The World Scout Environment Badge seeks to create an awareness of personal responsibility for the environment. The badge encourages Scouts to connect with nature, think about how we interact with the environment and take action to protect it. The environment is a global subject and the badge focuses on learning about local and global issues and how taking local action can help both of these.
For more information and guidelines on how to earn the World Scout Environment Badge please read the attached document.
Scouts in Action Week

You can join Scouts across Australia and be part of the very first Scouts in Action Week, an annual national activity where every Scout from all corners of Australia will be able to participate in programs specifically targeting a skill that Scouts can use in their day to day lives.
The first Scouts in Action Week will focus on first aid, and if you’re looking for a way to incorporate first aid into your program, it doesn’t get much easier than this!
For more information visit the Scouts in Action Week website.
Details Section of the A1s
It is important that the MAIN risk factors/details must be on the form and not in an attachment. This is for very strong legal reasons in that, in the event of an accident, we have to prove they got the information. Attachments are easily claimed to have not been received. However it's acceptable to use an attachment for other minor non risk info.
